InfoLink USA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RF Cable Technician to join our team for multiple indoor wireless DAS projects in the Gulf Coast area. As an RF Cable Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing wireless internet, distributed antenna systems (DAS), and related infrastructure for various customer sites in both indoor and outdoor environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication systems for our clients, while working in a diverse team of InfoLink staff. Onsite work will always be under the supervision of our Installation Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, and test network cabling (including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cables) for commercial customers
• Install appropriate antennas, system equipment and other miscellaneous hardware with appropriate labeling and documentation methods
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on faulty cables and connections
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs
• Assist in identifying necessary tools and materials for projects and communicating this with InfoLink staff
• Travel expenses such as lodging, meals, and mobilization are covered by InfoLink USA per our project rates.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an RF Cable Technician or related field; preferred experience Andrew (Commscope) DAS systems.
• Proficiency in installing, terminating, and testing network cabling, antennas, and other wireless hardware
• Familiarity and understanding of network infrastructure and cabling standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while prioritizing tasks effectively
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments (healthcare, commercial structures, public premise, etc.)
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and travel regionally

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with coaxial cable, wireless hardware, and fiber optic installation and repair
• Knowledge of various cable testing equipment
