Full Job Description Job Description:

United Install Group (UIG) is hiring 1099 Cable Installers to perform residential installations and service work for Cox Communications customers in the New Orleans, LA area. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated technicians seeking consistent work, weekly pay, and the ability to increase earnings through performance and quality metrics.

Responsibilities:

Install, service, and troubleshoot Cox cable, internet, and phone services Perform interior and exterior wiring, wall fishing, and outlet installations Run drops from tap to home when required Safely use ladders, climbing gear, and required safety equipment Follow Cox installation, safety, and quality standards Maintain strong customer satisfaction and quality metrics Accurately complete jobs using Cox work order systems

Earning Potential & Work Volume:

Typical technicians earn $750-$1,500+ per week , depending on experience and production Strong quality metrics = higher routing priority and more consistent work Reliable, high-performing techs receive steady workflow UIG offers a truck lease option and tool assistance

Requirements:

Reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of carrying ladders (lease option available) Own tools preferred (assistance programs may be available) 28' ladder and 6' ladder (assistance programs may be available) Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to pass background check and drug screening (Cox requirements) Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and on ladders Comfortable with drilling, wall fishing, and exterior work Smartphone for work orders and communication Insurance (1099 Requirement): General Liability and Workers' Compensation are required Affordable options available through UIG's contractor support partners (details during onboarding) Why Work With United Install Group (UIG): Steady work with a major
