Full Job Description Cable Assembly Technician Location:

Framingham Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00

PM Pay:

$20.00-$22.00/hour Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Cable Assembly Technician to support their Hardware Engineering team with cable assembly, wiring harness fabrication, and hardware troubleshooting. This is a hands-on role involving the building and testing of cable assemblies used in GPS and tablet hardware systems.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Hardware Engineering team with cable assembly and troubleshooting Perform wire crimping, soldering, stripping, and cutting Build custom wiring harnesses and cable assemblies Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and adherence to specifications Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with cable assemblies and wiring harnesses Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Properly manage tools, equipment, and materials Work with engineering staff to identify process improvements and resolve production issues Document assembly processes and maintain accurate production records Support additional hardware-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Experience with wire crimping, soldering, stripping, and cutting preferred Previous experience in cable assembly, wiring harness fabrication, electronics, or a related field preferred Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical schematics Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

Primarily hands-on bench work in a hardware/production environment May require sitting or standing for extended periods Requires frequent use of hand tools and small components #3368ST
