- Telecommunications closet build-outs
- Rack-and-stack installation of equipment
- Structured cabling installation
- Cable terminations and testing
- General network infrastructure support Most projects involve Cat6 cabling, so candidates must have hands-on experience with cable installation, termination, and certification testing using Fluke equipment.
- Top Skills
- 5+ years of structured cabling experience, including installation, termination, and testing of Cat6 cabling (fiber optic experience is a plus).
- Healthcare telecommunications experience, including familiarity with healthcare facility standards and infection control requirements.
- Strong professionalism and customer-facing skills, with experience leading small crews or directing helpers on project execution.

- Work Environment
- This position is based primarily within healthcare facilities across multiple locations in Maryland and Washington, DC.
- Typical schedule: Monday through Friday
- Start time generally ranges from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, depending on project requirements
- 40+ hours per week
- Overtime opportunities available
- Travel between regional project sites may be required
- Business Impact
- The telecommunications team supports ongoing MAC and infrastructure projects across multiple healthcare facilities. Due to continued growth in project volume, additional technicians are needed to maintain high service levels, support critical IT infrastructure, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
