Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Structured Cabling Technician/Installers Level 2 . You must be open and available to traveling the entirety of the state of Michigan.
DRIVERS LICENSE IS A MUST.
Meeting site is located at the main office in Freeland, MI where you would arrive at the designated time with your team to carpool to scheduled work sites via company vehicles. This position will report to the Senior Project Manager. The team member will be responsible for performing installation and maintenance of low-voltage cabling systems in Education/Commercial/Industrial environments. This includes installation, termination and testing of low voltage/network cables and fiber optic cables. Job Duties:
Perform installation of low voltage category cabling, fiber optic cabling, communications cabling, communication equipment and other various low voltage related systems such as Category 3, Category 5, Enhanced Category 5, Category 6 and Fiber Optic Structured Cable Distribution Systems. Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot cabling infrastructure systems and perform cable runs to the main switchboard. Fish walls and run wire through the drop ceiling. Work with a team of guys to complete the project. Coordinate with other Team Members within Company Inform operations management regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing necessary information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with OSHA regulations. Request equipment and supplies for inventory. Transport a variety of items (e.g. tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at client site. Achieve performance targets established by leadership for applicable Key Performance Indicators. Perform other duties as assigned by management. If you have your own hand tools it would be a plus.
Key qualifications:
Must have experience in 5E, 6 and 6 A structure cabling systems Knowledge of telecommunications, data rooms, network infrastructure cabling systems Cable pathways and wall penetrations Valid driver's license 10 panel drug screen required Must pass a national background check Work multiple shifts, and occasional weekends #LP123
