In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications infrastructure and equipment in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure seamless network connectivity and optimal performance for our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of hand and power tools, and develop your skills in fiber splicing, cable installation, and equipment testing. Responsibilities Install telecommunications network cables, including fiber optic and copper wiring, in residential and commercial environments Set up and configure network equipment such as Cisco routers, switches, and satellite dishes to ensure reliable connectivity Use hand tools, wire crimpers, wire strippers, cable testers, ohmmeters, and power tools to complete installations accurately and efficiently Perform fiber splicing and low voltage wiring tasks with precision to maintain high-quality signal transmission Conduct equipment testing to verify proper operation of telephony systems, Ethernet networks, and other telecommunications hardware Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, materials, and equipment to various job sites Follow safety protocols during outdoor work activities involving ladder use, electrical work, mechanical knowledge, and outdoor environmental conditions Skills Proven experience in network installation, telecommunications infrastructure work, or as a service technician in related fields Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including Ethernet cabling, telephony systems, and low voltage wiring Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, fiber splicing, cable crimping tools, wire strippers, electrical testing devices, and power tools Ability to operate ladders safely and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Mechanical aptitude with electrical experience preferred; familiarity with electrical codes is a plus Excellent customer service skills to assist clients during installations and address their questions or concerns Valid driver's license with safe driving record for operating company vehicles responsibly Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values technical expertise, safety consciousness, and exceptional customer service.
