Yes (local metro area) Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Field Technician to support infrastructure and reconstruction projects across the metro area. This role focuses on performing on-site inspections and locating underground utilities before excavation begins. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, collaborating with team members, and learning technical field skills in a growing industry. Key Responsibilities Perform field inspections at various job sites throughout the metro area Travel daily to different project locations (local travel required) Transport and operate specialized equipment to locate underground utilities (sewer and water systems) Accurately mark utility locations both physically on-site and digitally using software tools Document findings and communicate data to internal office teams Assist in updating maps, blueprints, and system records based on collected data Work collaboratively with a partner technician on daily assignments Required Qualifications 0-1 year of experience in: Utility locating Surveying Telecom, cable, or GIS-related work Ability to travel locally and perform field-based work daily Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn technical equipment Preferred Qualifications Experience reading or working with maps, blueprints, or GIS systems Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions Experience in hands-on or physically active roles Work Environment Daily travel within the metro area Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions Team-based fieldwork (paired with another technician) Typical start time: 7:00 AM from Woodbury office Why Join Us?
