In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables and related equipment to ensure seamless connectivity for our residential customers. Duties Install and configure fiber optic cables, Ethernet wiring, and low voltage telecommunications network cables in residential settings Perform fiber splicing, cable routing, and equipment testing to ensure optimal network performance Use hand tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, cable cutters, and power tools to complete installations accurately Operate company vehicles safely while transporting equipment and materials to job sites Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, test results, and service reports for each project Requirements Proven experience in network installation, telecommunications infrastructure or related field service roles Knowledge of routers, Ethernet networking, fiber splicing techniques Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with ladder use Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wire strippers, wire crimpers, power tools, and cable testers Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely Electrical experience or background in low voltage wiring is highly desirable Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders safely, and perform outdoor manual labor efficiently Embark on a career that combines technical expertise with hands-on craftsmanship!
