Full-Time $25-$35/hr Based on Experience and Knowledge Must be 18 years of age or older and hold a valid drivers license and Real ID or Passport Lightwave Communications is looking for a motivated and dependable Internet & Security Camera Installation Technician to join our growing team. This position includes local work throughout the Jefferson County MO area as well as out-of-town travel for multi-week projects. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, works well independently, and can also collaborate with a team when needed. Experience with internet, networking, low-voltage cabling, or security camera systems is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Install internet and security camera systems Run and secure low-voltage cabling Terminate and test RJ45 connections Mount and configure cameras and network equipment Troubleshoot basic networking and connectivity issues Operate power tools and jobsite equipment safely Work on ladders and in various indoor/outdoor environments Travel for out-of-town projects when required Maintain a clean and professional work environment Communicate professionally with customers and team members

Requirements:

Basic understanding of networking concepts Ability to terminate RJ45 connectors Ability to learn and terminate fiber optic cables.
