We provide structured cabling, fiber-optic, audiovisual, security, and network infrastructure services for commercial, industrial, warehouse, and mission-critical projects across multiple states. Position Summary Zetta Technologies is hiring reliable and motivated Structured Cabling Technicians at Levels I, II, and III. This is a full-time, 100% traveling position supporting projects across multiple states. This is not a local position. Applicants must be available to travel and remain out of town for the duration of each project. We are looking for candidates with experience in structured cabling, low-voltage systems, or commercial construction. Applicants must be dependable, safety-focused, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in active construction environments. Technician Levels Technician I — Entry Level Basic construction or low-voltage experience is preferred Assist with pulling, routing, supporting, and labeling cables Follow instructions from leads and experienced technicians Maintain tools, materials, and clean work areas Willingness to learn structured cabling installation standards Ability to work safely and professionally as part of a team Technician II — Experienced Experience installing Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, or fiber-optic cabling Perform cable terminations, labeling, testing, and basic troubleshooting Install J-hooks, cable supports, racks, cabinets, patch panels, and related equipment Read basic blueprints, floor plans, and cable schedules Work independently while following project requirements and instructions Technician III — Advanced Strong structured cabling and low-voltage installation experience Independently perform terminations, testing, troubleshooting, and quality-control work Read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications Work with copper and fiber-optic cabling systems Assist less-experienced technicians and coordinate work with field leadership Experience with Fluke testing, OTDR testing, fiber splicing, or cable certification is preferred General Responsibilities Pull, route, install, terminate, label, and test structured cabling Install Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber-optic cabling Install J-hooks, cable supports, racks, cabinets, patch panels, and related components Read and follow blueprints, floor plans, cable schedules, and technical drawings Identify and report installation issues or project concerns Operate ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts safely Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Protect company tools, equipment, and materials Follow all company, customer, and job-site safety requirements Communicate professionally with team members, field leaders, project managers, and customers Travel to project locations across multiple states Requirements Must be available for 100% travel Must be able to remain out of town for extended project assignments This position is not available for local-only work Valid driver's license required Previous structured cabling, low-voltage, or construction experience is preferred Must be reliable, punctual, and able to report to work as scheduled Ability to work safely on ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and cabling materials Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to follow instructions, company procedures, and safety requirements Good communication and teamwork skills OSHA, lift, BICSI, fiber-optic, or networking certifications are a plus Fiber splicing, Fluke testing, OTDR, or cable-certification experience is a plus Background Check and Drug Screening Must be able to successfully pass a background check Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening Employment is contingent upon successfully completing these requirements What We Offer Competitive pay based on verified experience and skill level Full-time employment Medical insurance benefits beginning in January 2027, subject to eligibility requirements and plan terms Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Opportunities to progress from Technician I to Technician II, Technician III, and field leadership Experience working on large commercial and mission-critical projects Opportunities to work on projects across multiple states Long-term career opportunities with a growing company Professional and supportive team environment Work Location Travel-based position — 100% travel required This is not a local position.
