Job Description Structured Cabling Technician - Low Voltage Wilkesboro, NC Join Next Level Technician as a Structured Cabling Technician in Wilkesboro, NC ! Responsibilities Pull, route, terminate, and label CAT5e/CAT6 cabling in commercial environments Experience with CAT6 and speaker cable pulling, daisy chain cables Assist in Valcom speaker installation Dress and organize cabling in MDF/IDF rooms and communication closets Test installed cabling using Fluke or similar testers Punch down voice and data jacks and terminate patch panels Assist with installation of racks, cabinets, ladder rack, and cable tray systems Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and cable schedules Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Work safely on ladders and lifts (comfortable with heights) Requirements 1+ years of structured cabling or low voltage experience Experience with CAT5e/CAT6 pulling and termination Basic understanding of cable testing and troubleshooting Ability to read basic blueprints and installation drawings Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots) Preferred Qualifications Experience with fiber optic installation or termination Experience working in commercial or industrial environments OSHA or lift certifications Experience assisting with cable tray or pathway installation Why Work with Next Level Technician in Wilkesboro, NC?
