We are dedicated to delivering high-quality telecommunications and security infrastructure for a diverse range of clients. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of low voltage systems including CCTV, fiber optic networks, telecommunication systems, and structured cabling. Your expertise will ensure our clients' communication and security systems operate seamlessly, providing reliable connectivity and safety. Responsibilities Install, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems such as CCTV cameras, fiber optic cabling, Ethernet networks, VoIP telephony, and structured wiring. Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installations. Perform fiber splicing and fiber optic system installation to ensure optimal performance. Conduct network wiring and cable termination using Cat5, Cat6, and other cable types in compliance with NEC standards. Troubleshoot equipment problems related to Cisco routers, Avaya systems, and other telecommunications hardware. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, testing results, and service reports for quality assurance. Qualifications Proven experience with CCTV installation and maintenance. Familiarity with computer networking concepts including Ethernet, LAN/WAN configurations, Cisco routers, and network cabling standards. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and telecommunications testing equipment. Experience with low-voltage electrical wiring including structured cabling installation (Cat5/Cat6), power tools, hand tools, and cable termination. Understanding of NEC electrical codes related to low-voltage wiring projects. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
