Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to join our dynamic security team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of security and surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control, and low-voltage electrical wiring. Your expertise will ensure the safety and security of facilities by delivering exceptional technical support and service. Responsibilities Install, configure, and calibrate CCTV surveillance systems, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and access control devices according to technical schematics and blueprints Troubleshoot and repair electrical security systems, low-voltage wiring, cabling, and network connections using hand tools and power tools Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical blueprints to accurately install or service security equipment Conduct routine maintenance checks on surveillance cameras, fire alarms, door security systems, and telecommunication devices to ensure optimal performance Provide remote access support for security systems using specialized software and assist clients with system setup or upgrades Diagnose system malfunctions related to computer hardware, networking issues, or electrical components and implement effective solutions Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and recommend appropriate system design improvements or upgrades Experience Proven experience as a service technician in the electrical security or surveillance industry with a focus on CCTV installation and troubleshooting Strong mechanical knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, sensors, alarm & access control systems, and fire alarm devices Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, cabling techniques, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints Familiarity with computer networking concepts related to security systems including remote access software and telecommunication infrastructure Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards applicable to low-voltage electrical wiring installations Customer service experience demonstrating effective communication skills when working directly with clients or end-users Ability to use hand tools such as drills, wire strippers, crimpers along with power tools safely and efficiently Join us if you're passionate about security technology!
