Low Voltage / Data Center Technician Sparks, NV | 6-Month Contract | Day Shift | 40+ Hours/Week Tek One Solutions is seeking experienced Low Voltage / Data Center Technicians for a long-term structured cabling project in Sparks, Nevada. This is a 6-month contract opportunity supporting a high-volume data center production environment with consistent day-shift hours and weekly pay.

Pay:

Weekly Scope of Work Technicians will support structured cabling installation within an active data center environment. Candidates must be able to work efficiently while maintaining high standards for cable management, labeling, termination, and workmanship.

Primary responsibilities include:

Pulling and routing Cat6/Cat6A cabling Dressing and organizing cable within established pathways Terminating Cat6/Cat6A cable Installing and terminating jacks and patch panels Labeling cables accurately according to project specifications Testing installed cabling and identifying deficiencies Maintaining clean and organized cable pathways Following production goals, drawings, labeling standards, and site procedures Working safely around active construction and data center operations Requirements Previous structured cabling or data center experience Ability to independently pull, label, terminate, and test cable Experience working in a production-driven installation environment OSHA 10 required Standard low-voltage hand tools required Full PPE required Ability to work 40+ hours per week and maintain dependable attendance Ability to follow safety, quality, and production requirements throughout the assignment Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced data center environment where productivity, cable-management quality, accurate labeling, and reliable attendance are critical to project success. #tekone
