The Handy Staff LLC is building a dedicated regional low-voltage crew for ongoing enterprise bank infrastructure projects . This is not a one-day gig . If you are tired of chasing one-off service tickets and want steady, predictable Monday-Thursday overnight work with a professional team that understands commercial standards, this may be a strong fit. We are actively hiring hands-on low-voltage technicians and lead technicians for immediate and long-term project work inside active commercial bank environments.

AM Starting Tech Rate:
$280/night
Growth Opportunity:
Higher nightly rates available for dependable technicians who show strong skill, clean work, leadership ability, and consistency
Lead Roles:
Easy advancement path for technicians who can run a small crew, read site plans, manage documentation, and deliver clean closeouts
Work Type:
Ongoing enterprise infrastructure projects — not sporadic break-fix work
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Technicians will assist with: Installing wall-mounted network cabinets, backboards, and patch panel enclosures Running, rerouting, dressing, and securing CAT5e/CAT6 cabling to commercial standards Punching down cables on patch panels and terminating to spec Installing J-hooks, cable supports, Velcro management, and mounting hardware Labeling, toning, testing, and documenting cable runs professionally Supporting rack cleanup, infrastructure upgrades, and network cutovers Maintaining clean work areas Completing required project photos and closeout documentation Working in small crews of 3-5 people inside active bank and retail environments
WHAT YOU MUST BRING
Qualified applicants must have: Hands-on experience with a punch-down tool and CAT5e/CAT6 cabling Ability to use drills, levels, measuring tools, and standard installation hand tools Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to work consistent overnight shifts Monday-Thursday without attendance issues Professional appearance and clear communication Ability to follow direction and work as part of a crew Comfort working in commercial environments with strict safety and security standards Ability to pass required onboarding, identification, background, and site-access requirements for commercial bank environments
WHAT GETS YOU TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE
Applicants with the following experience will be prioritized: Patch panel, network cabinet, and structured cabling experience Cable testing, toning, and professional labeling standards Security camera, access control, or IT infrastructure background Construction, carpentry, electrical, or commercial maintenance experience Lead experience running 2-4 person crews Experience training newer technicians Experience coordinating with site managers or project leads Your own tools, including punch-down tool, drill, cable tester/toner, label maker, tape measure, level, and headlamp
THIS IS HANDS-ON FIELD WORK
This is not a clipboard-only supervisory role. You will be mounting hardware, pulling cable, carrying tools, cleaning up, and working alongside your crew. If you are not willing to install, this is not the role for you.
