We are looking for dependable, safety-minded technicians who take pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Qualified technicians with experience in underground telecom construction are encouraged to apply. Training is available for qualified candidates. What you'll do: Technicians will install and maintain underground telecommunications service connections, including copper and fiber service drops. Installing underground copper and fiber service wire from the terminal to the customer's home Locating underground utilities and telecommunications cable Measuring distances from terminals to homes to determine proper service placement Installing, repairing, and maintaining underground conduit and duct Performing cable locating and service troubleshooting Completing aerial work when required Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety Providing professional and courteous service to customers Experience with underground cable locating and termination of telecom copper and fiber cables is a plus. What you'll need: Must be available to work flexible hours; weekend work may be required Must pass a background check and drug test Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting objects weighing 75+ pounds Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold Previous experience in any of the following is highly desirable: Underground telecommunications construction Fiber or copper service installation Cable locating Telecom cable termination Underground conduit and duct installation or repair Aerial telecommunications work We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: $5,000.00 Sign-On Bonus!
