This opportunity is expected to continue through approximately July 2027 and is ideal for technicians with strong structured cabling, fiber termination, network infrastructure, and troubleshooting experience. Pay & Overtime:

$35.00-$40.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications Overtime opportunities will depend on project requirements

Schedule:

Must be available for both day and night shifts as project needs change Long-term temporary assignment Estimated project completion: July 2027

Job Duties:

Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial low-voltage cabling systems Install CAT5e/data cabling, fiber optic cabling, and complete required fiber terminations Build out and maintain MDF/IDF spaces, cable racks, J-hooks, innerduct, and cable support systems Install and support IP camera systems, including Axis cameras, along with CCTV, voice, data, security, and alarm systems Read blueprints and site maps and complete cabling installations according to project requirements Test completed systems, troubleshoot network issues, maintain clean cable management, and provide project status updates

Requirements:

3-5 years of Low Voltage Cable Technician experience Strong experience with structured cabling, fiber optics, fiber termination, and network infrastructure Ability to read blueprints/site maps and independently perform standard low-voltage installation work Ability to operate boom and scissor lifts, work at heights, and work in confined or cramped spaces Basic telecommunications tools, required PPE, reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to use smartphones, email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs

Ideal Candidate:

Experienced in commercial voice/data, CCTV, network cabling, and MDF/IDF buildouts Strong troubleshooting, testing, labeling, cable-management, and documentation skills Safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working independently Flexible for changing day/night schedules and project demands BICSI, Siemon, Panduit, Belden, Verkada, Corning, or similar industry certifications are a plus How to
