W-2, Based on Experience Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cable Technician / Low Voltage Technician to support commercial and industrial installation projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing UTP/network and fiber optic cabling, security camera systems, conduit/raceway, and related low-voltage infrastructure . This position requires frequent travel to customer sites nationwide. Candidates should be comfortable working in manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and large campus environments . Responsibilities Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair low-voltage cabling and systems. Install UTP/copper and fiber optic cable in commercial and industrial environments. Install and support analog and digital security camera systems . Install conduit, raceway, innerduct, cable tray, and other cable pathways as required. Perform cable testing, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation . Route, secure, label, and terminate cables according to project specifications and industry standards. Work both inside and outside manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, and campus environments . Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, materials used, and project progress. Follow all company and customer safety requirements and job-site procedures. Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and other technicians. Travel nationally on a regular basis to support projects at various customer locations. Qualifications Previous experience as a Cable Technician, Low Voltage Technician, Network Cabling Technician, or similar role . Hands-on experience with UTP/copper and fiber optic cable installation . Experience installing and troubleshooting analog and digital camera systems . Knowledge of conduit, raceway, innerduct, cable tray, and cable pathways . Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents . Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. Experience working in commercial, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments . Comfortable working in active manufacturing plants and large campus facilities. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials and work in a variety of physical environments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be willing and able to travel approximately 75% nationwide.
