Project Manager - IDAS Cable Installation NXG Tustin, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $40 - $45 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Program management Accounts payable Schedule management Contracts Telecommunication Cabling Full Job Description This Project Manager position is based in, CA and will play a key role supporting construction, construction quality standards, and integration for the In-Building program across the markets. Contributes to the development and construction functions by ensuring the consistent high quality and timeliness of delivery of operational and project-based development activities. Key point of contact for planning, budgeting, coordinating, resourcing, presenting, executing, and controlling site builds and construction initiatives. Ensures consistency in processes, reporting, forecasting, project financials, data integrity, siting solutions, and vendor qualification. Minimum 5+ years' experience in wireless In-Building Construction. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively connect with all employee levels and levels of management. General knowledge of accounting practices including budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, change orders, change management, and accounts payable. Proven track record identifying project impacting issues, able to work with more senior members of the Management team to develop and implement solutions. Ability to interpret construction drawings, vendor contracts, master agreements, cell site leases with any/all existing or potential landlords (e.g. public agencies, private corporations, private citizens and non-profit agencies). Strong understanding of construction milestones and experience handling Business Requirements, Project Plans, Project Schedules, Construction Drawings, Project materials and Project Financials. Experience in taking off material from CD's and preparing estimates. Telecommunications, business, engineering or equivalent experience and training or equivalent experience in lieu of degree preferred
Program Management:
Driving the deployment phase of the In-Building program. Responsible for project budgets, daily construction scheduling, safety meetings, vendor and resource coordination, troubleshooting, and getting sites through the construction life cycle.
Project Quality:
Managing a diverse group of vendors, contractors and employees supporting construction and integration activities. Drives financial success, ownership, accountability, and quality in the program.
Program Projections:
Builds milestone breakdown structures, develops reporting and updates teams on risks or budget concerns. Documents, acquires approval for, and supervises any process changes in program. Produces reporting, notifications and communicates regarding program status to respective internal and external partners.
Resource Management:
Develops, recommends, and/or implements critical initiatives associated with improving practices; leads establishment and development of policies; establishes schedules, collaborates with market, regional, and national partners
Project Status:
Attends Management and project team meetings as the need arises, keeping project teams up to date on current and future projects. Conducts program reviews with Management and performs ongoing assessments on progression.
Risk Management:
Identifies risks in projects and applies techniques to assess and mitigate the risks. Drives project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation. Calls out potential issues to achieve resolution.
Project Control:
tracks cost vs. budget, identifies and estimates the changes early, provides the estimates to customers ASAP.
Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
