Lantech Communications LLC handles day-to-day installations for the Major Cable TV Companies and Internet providers. We are looking to hire experienced cable technicians in Greenville and Spartanburg , who can provide a positive experience for our customers.

Position type:

1099 Contract. Please, note: This position requires a background check and a drug test. This position requires work authorization and a valid DL.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in cable or telecom installation. Strong understanding of installation standards, signal testing, and customer setup. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics, basements, and crawlspaces. Must have your own professional tool set and mobile phone as outlined in the company's required equipment checklist. Having your own white minivan or pickup truck with a ladder rack is a plus — if not, we can connect you with partner companies that offer vehicle and ladder leasing options. Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills. Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Commitment to following safety protocols and company standards. Key Responsibilities:

Install, activate, and troubleshoot residential fiber internet services Perform FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) installations and customer setups Install and configure ONTs, routers, modems, and networking equipment Perform fiber testing, signal verification, and quality checks Run fiber/coax cable inside and outside residential properties Complete installations according to company and customer standards Troubleshoot service issues and ensure customer satisfaction Complete required documentation, photos, and job reports through company systems Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
