We are looking for an Installation Technician who enjoys hands‑on technical work, problem‑solving, and working on diverse AV and security system projects. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair security systems following manufacturer specifications Perform system testing and ensure proper functionality Troubleshoot issues and complete service repairs Use voltmeters and diagnostic tools for electrical testing Provide technical support to customers on system functionality Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently Install AV systems including projectors, screens, interactive panels, audio systems, and racks Install and program analog and digital camera systems Install and program access control systems Perform structured cabling (pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing cable) Work in challenging environments: ladders, lifts, crawl spaces, ceiling spaces Complete projects on time and within budget Follow industry standards and approved installation practices Desired Skills Low voltage installation experience Access control installation and configuration CCTV installation, wiring, and programming Ability to read blueprints and schematics Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Familiarity with computer networking Mechanical aptitude and use of hand/power tools Service technician experience is a plus Qualifications Experience with security systems, CCTV, and/or intrusion detection Understanding of low voltage systems and NEC codes Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams Experience using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools Networking background or system integration experience Prior service technician experience preferred but not required Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Health savings account (HSA) Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Why Join Central Technologies?
