Security Camera Technician The Camera Company - 2.0 Murfreesboro, TN Job Details Full-time | Contract $24.42 - $29.41 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Customer service Power drills Driver's License Attention to detail Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description Security Camera Installation Technician Commercial Security Camera Systems | Middle Tennessee Per-Job / Contract Position We are looking for a dependable, experienced Security Camera Installation Technician to perform commercial security camera installations throughout Middle Tennessee. This is a per-job position. Compensation is paid upon successful completion of each assigned installation. Job scope and technician compensation will be provided and agreed upon before each project. Responsibilities Install commercial security camera systems Mount and properly position indoor and outdoor cameras Run and terminate Cat5e/Cat6 network cable Install NVRs, network switches, monitors, and related equipment Configure IP security cameras and recording equipment Set up remote viewing on phones, tablets, and computers Troubleshoot cameras, cabling, network connections, and equipment Perform system upgrades and equipment replacements Maintain clean and professional cable routing Test all equipment before completing the job Provide customers with basic system and mobile app instruction Leave every jobsite clean and professional Requirements Must have your own reliable transportation Must have your own installation tools Valid driver's license Ability to travel to customer locations throughout Middle Tennessee Comfortable working from ladders and at various heights Experience using drills, hand tools, cable tools, and installation equipment Dependable and able to complete assigned projects on schedule Professional appearance and communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and troubleshoot in the field Preferred Experience Security camera installation Low-voltage wiring Cat5e/Cat6 installation and termination IP cameras and NVR systems Computer networking Alarm/security systems Cable or internet installation Electrical or other technical field-service work Compensation This is a per-job opportunity. Compensation is based on the size and scope of each installation Technician pay will be established before accepting each job Payment is made upon successful completion of the assigned job Additional installation opportunities will be available as projects are sold and scheduled Reliable technicians who consistently produce high-quality work will receive priority for future projects Our Installation Standard We expect professional workmanship on every project: properly positioned cameras, clean cable runs, organized equipment, proper terminations, a clean jobsite, and a fully tested system before leaving. We are looking for dependable technicians who take pride in their work and are interested in building an ongoing relationship as our commercial security camera business grows.
