Job Title:
Underground Cabling Technician Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Underground Cabling Technician to join BNG Cabling, a company specializing in underground cable installation. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining coaxial cables, fiber optic lines, conduit systems, and performing underground boring operations. This role requires attention to safety, quality workmanship, and professionalism to ensure reliable communication infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain coaxial cables, fiber optic lines, and conduit systems underground. Operate boring equipment for underground cable installation projects. Read and interpret technical drawings, maps, and specifications. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately. Conduct inspections of installed cables and systems to ensure quality and performance. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in underground cabling or related field preferred. Knowledge of coaxial cable, fiber optics, conduit installation, and boring techniques. Ability to operate relevant machinery safely. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good physical condition with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license required.
Pay:
$150.00 - $400.00 per day
