OneSparQ has several openings for Access Control Technicians in Midland, TX for a low-voltage integration and security systems company.

Required Skills:

2-3 years hands-on experience with low-voltage cabling, door hardware and access control installations. Experience installing security cameras. Basic networking knowledge, including IP cameras and recording servers. Additional Skills (not required): Experience programming access control systems and doors. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. Experience using Word and Excel for project tracking and documentation. Strong spreadsheet competency, particularly for access control projects.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and test access control systems at commercial jobsites. Work with existing low-voltage cabling pulled to doors and install equipment into door hardware. Perform door hardware conversions and install access control devices. Install and connect security cameras and related equipment. Program access-controlled doors to ensure proper operation. Perform basic networking tasks, including connecting IP cameras and adding devices to recording servers. Read and follow project plans and assist with generating documentation as needed. Work as part of a two-person team to coordinate door-side and head-end testing. Maintain accurate project tracking and documentation using spreadsheets. #

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
