In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex cable assemblies and wire harnesses , reading and interpreting electrical schematics, and ensuring all components meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in electronics assembly, mechanical assembly, and the use of hand tools will be essential to delivering reliable, high-quality products. Responsibilities Assemble wire harnesses and electrical cables following detailed blueprints and schematics, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement devices to cut, strip, crimp, solder, and connect wires and components. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and engineering drawings to guide assembly processes. Build electrical panels and electro-mechanical assemblies with attention to detail while maintaining compliance with IPC 620 standards for electronic assemblies. Troubleshoot electrical issues using engineering troubleshooting techniques and resolve assembly or wiring problems efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized work area while following safety protocols related to electrical wiring and mechanical assembly processes. First Article Builds Experience Proven experience in electronics assembly or electrical wiring within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Hands-on experience with soldering techniques, and using hand tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, and power tools. Knowledge of cable assembly processes including component placement and inspection per IPC 620 standards. Ability to work with electro-mechanical components and understand mechanical assembly principles. Mechanical knowledge related to machining or mechanical assembly is a plus.
