Field Technician Stratum Utilities Rowlett, TX Job Details Full-time $150 - $200 a day 16 hours ago Qualifications Outdoor work Power tools Construction Materials handling Hand tools Full Job Description We are looking for hardworking, dependable Drilling Laborers / Field Technicians to join our underground utility construction team. This position supports directional drilling crews by performing site preparation, potholing, digging, pipe handling, conduit installation, equipment setup, and general labor. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, enjoys working outdoors, and thrives in a physically demanding, team-oriented environment. No directional drilling experience is required. We are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic. Responsibilities Assist the Directional Driller and Locator with daily job site operations. Prepare job sites by setting up traffic control, safety barriers, and equipment. Dig trenches, potholes, and launch/exit pits using hand tools and equipment. Handle, stage, and install conduit, HDPE pipe, and other underground utility materials. Assist with pulling conduit, cable, and product through completed bores. Mix drilling fluids and support drilling operations as directed. Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment. Maintain clean and organized job sites. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Follow utility locate markings and protect existing underground utilities. Complete work in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Travel to various job sites as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the Foreman or Project Manager.
Pay:
$150.00 - $200.00 per day
