Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Cable Construction Technician to assist our aerial line crews with cable installation and construction projects. This position supports linemen by handling ground operations, preparing materials, and assisting with the installation of aerial fiber and coax cable. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and wants to learn the telecommunications construction trade.
Responsibilities:
Assist linemen with aerial cable installation and maintenance Pull and place fiber or coax cable along utility poles Prepare materials and tools for the line crew Help operate and set up bucket trucks, ladders, and cable trailers Handle strand, lashing equipment, and cable reels Maintain a safe work zone and follow all safety procedures Load/unload equipment and keep trucks organizedQualifications:
Experience in telecom, cable, fiber, construction, or utility work preferred Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable with physical work, lifting, and climbing Valid driver's license requiredWhat We Offer:
