In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various cable systems, including electrical wiring, PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assemblies, and electro-mechanical components. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of communication and electrical systems across diverse environments. Responsibilities Install and maintain electrical wiring, cable assemblies, and electro-mechanical components following detailed blueprints and schematics. Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and machining tools to assemble and repair electrical panels, PCB boards, and surface mount technology (SMT) components. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and troubleshooting of systems. Conduct electrical testing using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to verify circuit integrity and troubleshoot issues in PCB assemblies or wiring harnesses. Perform surface mount technology (SMT) assembly, mechanical assembly, and electrical wiring tasks with precision according to IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies. Troubleshoot complex issues involving electro-mechanical components using engineering troubleshooting techniques. Follow blueprint specifications meticulously during manufacturing or installation processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Experience Proven experience in electronics assembly, electrical panel building, or manufacturing environments involving PCB work. Strong knowledge of electrical schematic reading, interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with soldering techniques for surface mount technology (SMT) as well as through-hole components. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment required for electrical troubleshooting. Understanding of IPC 610 standards related to electronic component assembly and quality assurance processes. Experience working with electro-mechanical components in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred. Ability to follow detailed technical instructions while maintaining safety protocols at all times.
