Job Description
LOW VOLTAGE TECHNICIAN - 3 WEEK PROJECT
Tumwater / Olympia, WA I.T. Solutions Inc. is hiring an experienced Low Voltage Technician to help complete the final 3 weeks of an active commercial retail remodel project in Tumwater, WA. This project is already underway. We need someone who can step in immediately, work consistently through project completion, communicate well, and help us finish the project strong. Reliability is extremely important. We need someone who can report to every scheduled shift and provide clear daily communication regarding progress, issues, and completed work.Responsibilities:
Pull, route, dress, terminate, label, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cabling Install and connect network devices, APs, POS equipment, VoIP phones, and other low-voltage devices Troubleshoot cabling and device connectivity issues Operate scissor lifts as needed Complete remaining remodel and punch-list items Maintain clean and professional work areas Communicate daily progress and outstanding issuesRequirements:
3+ years commercial low-voltage experience preferred Experience terminating keystones, patch panels, and network devices Experience with Cat5e/Cat6 installation and testing Ability to operate a scissor lift Ability to work independently and alongside another technician Reliable transportation Basic low-voltage hand tools Strong communication skills Must be dependable and able to consistently work the remaining project schedulePreferred:
Retail remodel experience Fiber experience Lift certification OSHA certificationSchedule:
Overnight shifts Sunday-Thursday nights Approximately 40 hours per week depending on project needs Approximately 3 weeks remaining Immediate start preferredPay:
$24-$34 per hour DOE This is currently a short-term project position; however, strong performance may lead to consideration for future I.T. Solutions Inc. projects.
