Job Description

We are looking for a dependable Mobile Diesel Fleet Mechanic / Fleet Maintenance Manager to help keep our trucks and equipment moving. This is a salary position and a great opportunity for someone who enjoys traveling, being on the go, working independently, and solving problems in the field. This position requires travel between two facilities, mobile repair work, roadside assistance, driver shuttling when needed, and hands-on fleet maintenance. We need someone who can take ownership of the equipment, reduce downtime, and help control repair costs. Primary responsibilities include diesel truck repair, roadside assistance, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, tire repairs, brakes, electrical, liftgates, reefer units, forklifts, pallet jacks, gas engines, and general equipment maintenance. This person will also be responsible for keeping repair records updated, helping manage parts, opening and maintaining vendor relationships, coordinating repairs, and making practical decisions to keep the fleet moving. Class B CDL is preferred.
Requirements:
Diesel repair experience required Heavier repair experience preferred Class B CDL preferred Must be willing to travel between facilities Must be comfortable performing mobile and roadside repairs Experience with medium-duty trucks, reefers, liftgates, forklifts, pallet jacks, tires, brakes, electrical, and general equipment maintenance preferred Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently Own tools preferred This is a good position for someone who does not want to be stuck in one shop all day and enjoys being active, traveling between locations, and handling different repair situations. Salary based on experience, CDL status, tools, and ability to manage fleet maintenance with minimal supervision.
