What You'll Do as a Diesel MechanicIn this role you'll perform essential fleet maintenance and diesel truck repair to keep our drivers safe and our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities includePerforming inspections diagnostics and repairs on diesel vehiclesTroubleshooting electrical hydraulic suspension brake and air systemsUsing onboard vehicle diagnostic systems to interpret failure codes and adjust enginevehicle control modulesResponding to road calls and conducting emergency repairsReviewing and completing repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)Documenting work using fleet maintenance softwareTest-driving vehicles after repairsSupporting teammates with complex repairsInteracting professionally with driversMaintaining a clean and safe shop environment compliant with OSHA standardsPerforming additional maintenance duties as neededWhat We're Looking ForTo excel in this diesel mechanic role you should bringHands-on experience with diesel truck diagnostics preventive maintenance and repairsHydraulic system experience (preferred but not required)Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly.
