What You'll Do as a Diesel Mechanic In this role, you'll perform essential fleet maintenance and diesel truck repair to keep our drivers safe and our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
Performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel vehicles Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems Using onboard vehicle diagnostic systems to interpret failure codes and adjust engine/vehicle control modules Responding to road calls and conducting emergency repairs Reviewing and completing repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) Documenting work using fleet maintenance software Test-driving vehicles after repairs Supporting teammates with complex repairs Interacting professionally with drivers Maintaining a clean and safe shop environment compliant with OSHA standards Performing additional maintenance duties as needed What We're Looking For To excel in this diesel mechanic role, you should bring: Hands-on experience with diesel truck diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs Hydraulic system experience (preferred but not required) Ability to work in all weather conditions.
