Tuskegee, AL We are a growing trucking company seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of tractors and trailers. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to keep equipment safe and road-ready. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems Perform routine maintenance and DOT inspections Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently Maintain service records and follow safety procedures Work closely with operations to minimize downtime Requirements Previous experience as a diesel mechanic (trucks & trailers) Knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, and electrical diagnostics Ability to use diagnostic tools and shop equipment Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, not required) Strong work ethic and reliability Preferred Qualifications ASE certifications Experience with fleet maintenance Welding or fabrication experience a plus Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Steady, year-round work Overtime opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth
