Diesel Mechanic CCC Delta Group, Inc. - Fort Smith, AR Job Summary CCC Delta Group is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. This is a hands-on role critical to keeping our operations moving. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and hydraulics on trucks and heavy equipment Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, inspections) Complete DOT-required inspections and ensure fleet compliance Troubleshoot and repair engine, drivetrain, and electrical issues Weld and fabricate repairs as needed Maintain accurate service and repair records Respond to breakdowns and perform field repairs when needed Order and manage parts inventory Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment Qualifications 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience (truck fleet and/or heavy equipment preferred) Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems Experience with DOT inspection requirements Own basic hand tools (shop provides specialty/diagnostic tools) Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus ASE certification a plus but not required Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Application Question(s): 1. How many years of experience do you have working as a diesel mechanic? 2. Are you able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions (indoor/outdoor shop and field repairs)? 5. Are you able and willing to respond to occasional breakdowns/field repairs outside normal shop hours, if needed? 6. Do you have experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems?
