DIESEL MECHANIC

Best Rate Fleet Services | Jackson, TN & West Memphis, AR Best Rate Fleet Services is looking for dependable, experienced Diesel/Truck & Trailer Mechanics to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position focused heavily on mobile roadside repair and fleet service . We need mechanics who can diagnose problems, make solid decisions in the field, and complete repairs safely and professionally without needing someone standing over them. What You'll Work On Class 7 & 8 trucks Semi-trailers Brakes, air systems & suspension Electrical and starting/charging systems Engine diagnostics and repair Cooling systems Tires and wheel-end repairs Preventive maintenance DOT-related repairs Roadside breakdowns Fleet maintenance What We're Looking For Diesel/truck repair experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability Ability to work independently Valid driver's license and dependable transportation Your own basic hand tools Willingness to work roadside and outdoors Good communication with dispatch and management Professional attitude around customers Ability to document repairs with clear notes and photos Our Standards At Best Rate, authorization, communication and documentation matter just as much as turning wrenches.

Mechanics are expected to:
