Certified Automotive Diesel Technician San Tan Ford - 4.1 Gilbert, AZ Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Qualifications High school diploma or GED Ford Certification Full Job Description San Tan Ford in Gilbert, AZ is looking for Ford Certified Diesel Technicians to take on a range of light-duty and medium-duty diesel repair and maintenance work. This is a role for someone who reads a repair order, builds a plan, and executes it cleanly; from initial diagnosis through final quality check. Pay is competitive and scales with experience and certification level, with room to grow as you add to your credentials. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and certification level Health, dental, and medical insurance Paid time off and sick leave Flexible scheduling Career growth and advancement opportunities What You'll Do Execute diesel repairs and maintenance on light-duty and medium-duty vehicles per repair order specifications and manufacturer standards Assess vehicle symptoms by reading job orders, observing operation, and listening for malfunctions before planning the repair approach Review protective guards, fasteners, and safety devices on trucks and adjust as needed to meet specifications Road test vehicles after service to confirm repairs are complete and the vehicle operates safely Document and submit warranty parts to the warranty clerk following dealership procedures Observe all applicable safety requirements and published repair procedures throughout each job Participate in manufacturer training sessions and review factory technical bulletins to stay current Uphold workspace cleanliness standards and ensure guest vehicles are returned in the same condition they arrived What We're Looking For Ford certification strongly 3+ year of fleet or dealership experience required; prior Ford dealership experience Must supply own tools Self-motivated with a professional, customer-first approach to repair work High school diploma or equivalent required San Tan Ford is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
