Full-Time Job Overview ND Global Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Journey Diesel Mechanic (Transportation) to join a school district transportation team in Glendale, Arizona. This role is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and transportation equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel, gasoline, and propane-powered vehicles. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues. Repair and replace vehicle components, including brakes, fuel systems, transmissions, alternators, and electrical wiring. Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations. Respond to roadside service calls and emergency vehicle repairs when needed. Maintain accurate repair records, work orders, and maintenance logs. Assist with inventory management of tools, parts, and supplies. Ensure a safe and organized work environment. Minimum Qualifications Previous diesel mechanic experience with increasing levels of responsibility required. Community college, vocational school, or technical training in a related field preferred. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions. Required Licenses & Certifications Valid Arizona Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger (P) Endorsement required. Forklift Operator Certification preferred. Ability to meet all pre-employment screening requirements, including fingerprint clearance and medical examination.Benefits Competitive Pay:
