Waste Disposal, a locally owned garbage company, is in need of an experienced diesel mechanic to join our team in Sierra Vista. Only resumes with heavy diesel experience will be considered for this job.

Qualifications:

This is an immediate opening for a full time hourly position with competitive pay, dependent upon experience. We are seeking a applicant must have 2+ years of experience with heavy diesel maintenance and repair. Automotive electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems experience is a huge plus! Experience with Front Load, Automated Side Load, and Roll Off Trucks is also a huge plus! Applicant must also be a self starter, pass a drug test and have and maintain a clean driving record.

Annual Inspections Preventative Maintenance Tire and brake replacement and repair Hydraulic hose replacement and repair Daily truck safety inspections Repair logging and documentation Basic welding and fabrication DOT compliance
