Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical problems.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment.
• Repair and replace faulty parts and components, such as brakes, fuel systems, and exhaust systems.
• Weld and fabricate metal parts as needed.
• Use schematics, diagrams, and manuals to guide repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, including their components and systems.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in diesel engine repair.
• Experience in equipment repair, including farm machinery or heavy-duty vehicles.
• Proficient in conducting brake repairs and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
