Duties & Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including steering, electrical, cooling, braking, and drivetrain, ensuring safety and compliance. Perform test drives to confirm repairs and address any issues. Secure required inspections and approvals for major repairs prior to vehicle release. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace while adhering to all safety standards. Identify and report additional maintenance needs during repairs. Accurately log time, parts, and services for each repair or maintenance job. Respond to road calls to provide on-site repairs when needed. Collaborate with the Lead Technician to address unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Medium/Heavy truck repair, with expertise in diagnostics and electrical systems. Strong knowledge of diesel equipment, including AC systems and vehicle repairs. Ownership of recommended hand tools for the role. Valid state driver's license required CDL preferred. Training available for those who need to obtain a CDL after hire. ASE Certification preferred but not required. Company-supported training available. Self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and meet DOT requirements. #HJ1
Compensation:
$37 to $38/hr based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, holiday pay, PTO accrual, and retirement savings plan. Paid Training provided!
Shifts:
Day Shift - Monday to Friday Overtime Available!
