Experienced Diesel Mechanic Courtland Truck Works (CTW) is a unique truck repair and restoration company specializing in Peterbilt truck parts, repairs, and restorations for customers worldwide. We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanic with strong knowledge of medium- and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, with an emphasis on Peterbilt truck repair and restoration . Position Summary Under the direction of the Manager, the Mechanic is responsible for providing high-quality repairs and restoration services by inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment in a safe, efficient, and professional manner . General Duties & Responsibilities Service and repair trucks, trailers, and related equipment. Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues. Complete all required repair and service documentation. Coordinate and prioritize repairs with the Manager. Perform all duties in a safe, effective, and professional manner. Assist customers as needed, including: Loading and unloading equipment Deliveries Service calls Outside repairs Follow all company policies and procedures. Perform welding and fabrication as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Minimum Job Requirements Successful candidates must: Have experience repairing and diagnosing medium- and heavy-duty trucks and trailers .

Have experience working with:

Diesel engines Hydraulic systems Electrical systems Air systems Have welding and fabrication experience. Be able to lift 50 lbs. unaided from floor level to chest height . Be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent . Be available to work weekends when needed. Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. Maintain an acceptable attendance record. Successfully pass a background inspection. Successfully pass a drug screening. Physical Demands & Working Conditions The position may involve: Heavy lifting. Frequent climbing, bending, squatting, and reaching while repairing and restoring vehicles. Working outdoors in various weather conditions.
