Job Description

What is the Industrial Mechanic position? Ancon provides industrial cleaning and services to customers such as refineries and power plants. We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team! This person will be responsible for maintaining company vehicles by performing periodic diagnostic testing and completing preventative maintenance measures to make sure any problems with our vehicles are found and fixed before they cause a breakdown. This person will also be responsible to repair broken down vehicles so these can go back into the working field. Traveling to job sites or to location where maintenance is needed may be required, depending on the situation. Key Responsibilities? Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times. Performs diagnosis, troubleshooting, services and repairs on gasoline & diesel light/medium/heavy duty vehicles as well as on pumps and equipment Documents, organizes and tracks work orders and related forms necessary for billing/invoicing for parts and services performed on equipment inspects and tests vehicles and records findings so that necessary repairs can be made What Qualifications and Experience does the Mechanic position require? 3 or more years of experience doing mechanic work on gasoline & diesel light/medium/heavy duty vehicles is preferred Experience with vacuum pumps, hydraulic pumps, air/electric/engine driven diaphragm pumps, and related equipment Experience working with Liquid Vac and Dry Vac Trucks
ASE/NATEF
Certified Knowledge in engine mechanics, for both gasoline and diesel engines Physically Fit for physical work requirements Benefits beyond hourly pay?
