Job Description
Heavy Truck Technician (minimum 2 years experience
- Merced, CA We are seeking an experienced truck technician to service our fleet of Volvo & Peterbilt Tractors. We are a full service/bumper to bumper maintenance facility. Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
- General Maintenance. Lube, oil and filter, bit and D.O.T inspections
- Diagnostic, repair and service to R134a a/c systems
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs to lighting, engine and aftertreatment control systems.
- Knowledge of aftertreatment components including:
DPF, DEF
& SCR, their functions and diagnostic abilities.- Air Brake repair and troubleshooting
- Clutch, Transmission and differential, diagnostic, removal and replacement.
- Volvo and Volvo engine experience preferred.
