Job Description

We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Fleet Mechanic Assistant to help maintain our fleet of luxury and mid-size tour buses. If you're mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and take pride in doing quality work — this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career in the transportation industry. About the Fleet You'll assist with maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles: Ford
E450, F550, F650, F750
Cutaway Chassis Mercedes Sprinter 3500 Bluetec Engines include Triton V10 Gas, Cummins ISB, and Ford Power Stroke Key Responsibilities Support mechanics with routine maintenance and inspections Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication services Help with brake service , tire inspections, and replacements Maintain shop tools, parts inventory, and clean work areas Assist in diagnosing simple electrical and AC issues Bus washing, window washing, toilet service, cleaning duties Document completed work and help track maintenance schedules Follow all safety and company procedures Learn and grow with hands-on training from experienced technicians What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude Dependable and shows up on time Willingness to learn and follow direction Basic mechanical knowledge or prior shop experience a plus Comfortable using hand tools (wrenches, jacks, power tools) Team player with attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship CDL or trade school experience is a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $20-$40 per hour (DOE) Part-time position 10-30hrs/week Training and advancement opportunities Supportive, team-focused environment Steady, year-round work on a diverse fleet
