Full Job Description Overview:
Managed Mobile, Inc. is the market leader for commercial fleet maintenance in California, Texas, and Nevada. We have an excellent opportunity for Mobile Technicians looking for a career as a Mobile Advanced Diesel Technician. We're seeking a Mobile Advanced Fleet Technician to diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles, including tractor trailers, at customer locations. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills across diesel and gas engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and DOT compliance standards. Candidates must be comfortable working independently in the field, managing a service vehicle and inventory, and delivering quality repairs under time pressure. This is a hands-on role for a technician who takes ownership of uptime and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Diagnose and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles, up to tractor trailers Perform A-PMs and B-PMs Perform BIT and DOT inspections Perform PMs on trailers and limited minor repair work when needed Perform PMs on a variety of diesel engines, including Class 6-8 diesel engines Use computer diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical/electrical issues Travel to customer locations to complete repairs and maintenance Maintain service vehicle, tools, and parts inventoryQualifications:
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
3+ yrs DOT inspections 3+ yrs of Mobile Technician experience 10+ yrs of diesel repair experience Monday through Friday schedule with flex start times No overnight shifts Knowledge of CVSA - out of service criteria. Ability to work in changing weather conditions. Ability to pass a drug/background test. Holds a valid Driver's License, good driving record & no suspensions.WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT
Welding Experience. Desire to work 10 hrs- Monday through Friday. Desire for 10 hrs of overtime each week.SCHEDULE
No Weekends:
Work/Life Balance. Monday through Friday, with a flexible start time between 6:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Daily start times are assigned the afternoon before, with notice by 3:00 PM.Benefits:
