Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast paced environment and possess strong automotive diagnostics skills. This role requires proficiency in vehicle maintenance, electrical systems, hydraulics, and the use of power tools. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on flatbed tow trucks, wreckers and pick-up trucks and other equipment as necessary. Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Align wheels and adjust suspension systems as needed. Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively for repairs. Work with hydraulic systems, including cranes and other heavy machinery. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Operate and maintain a mobile equipment repair truck. Skills Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics, including electrical systems and diagnostics. Experience working in a dealership setting is preferred. Proficient in vehicle maintenance procedures and techniques. Ability to operate hydraulic systems safely, including cranes. Familiarity with various power tools used in vehicle repair. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must have experience working on flat bed tow trucks, wreckers up to a 50 ton and fleet maintenance.
