Position overview:
The Diesel Truck Mechanic performs routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel trucks.
Pay range:
$31.00•33.00/hr. (based on experience)
Hours:
Monday•Friday, 5:30am•2:00pm
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, diagnostic testing, 90-day bit inspections and repairs on diesel trucks. Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed. Perform brake and wheel seals along with trailer inspections.
Basic Qualifications:
2-4 years' experience as a Diesel Truck Mechanic. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems. Basic forklift knowledge. Possess your own tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior welding & fabricating experience. Experience performing routine maintenance on trailers. T.M.
