Job description: Overview Robertsons Ready Mix is a leading provider of ready-mix concrete and aggregate products in Southern California and Nevada, established in 1969. We are known for our quality control and commitment to sustainability, offering services for various municipal, commercial and residential projects. What are we looking for? We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic in Miramar, Ca . The Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing heavy duty equipment in our fleet. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using software (ex: Cummins Insite, Bendix, or Tech Tool) Conduct brake repairs, tire services, and electrical system troubleshooting. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs. Repair and replacements of faulty worn out parts and components. Requirements 1-2 years of proven experience working as a mechanic Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues on equipment Experience with electrical systems and brake repair is essential Hydraulic system knowledge is a PLUS!!! Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Overtime and Saturday work is required Robertsons Ready Mix is an equal opportunity employer.
