Job Description

Field Diesel Mechanic - Field Service We are seeking an experienced Field Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a highly skilled, safe, and professional environment. This position requires someone who can work independently, troubleshoot equipment in the field, and provide excellent service to customers. What You'll Do Perform maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems. Diagnose and repair a variety of equipment and tools using independent judgment. Travel to customer job sites to perform equipment repairs and preventative maintenance. Maintain an assigned service vehicle in a clean and professional condition. Assist with training and mentoring less-experienced technicians as needed. Complete work orders and electronic documentation accurately and on time. Assist with the pickup and delivery of equipment and parts. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. 5+ years of experience repairing and maintaining equipment and tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced knowledge of tools. Extensive knowledge of construction or heavy equipment. Ability to read and understand schematics and diagrams. Must own tools applicable to the position. Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to frequently lift up to 45 lbs. This position is considered safety sensitive . Compensation $30.45 - $43.85 per hour Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, training, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
