We provide services such as horizontal directional drilling, auger boring, utility excavation, hydro-excavation, pipe fusion, and pipe-bursting to install and repair water, sewer, gas, electrical and communication utilities. Global Underground has built a reputation for completing complex, high profile underground utility installations and repairs with advanced technology and experienced crews. Position Overview We are seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 2 years' experience to join our fast-paced facility. Our mechanics provide service for our fleet of 150 to include vehicles, heavy equipment, and trailers. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate $32 - $42 per hour 100% employer-paid employee health insurance 401(k) with 4% company match Paid Vacation Time (up to 160 hours) Sick Time (56 hours Annually) Paid Holidays Boot and Prescription Safety Glass Allowance Ongoing professional development and certification support Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair heavy equipment Diagnose and repair tractor trailers and pickups Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, electronic systems, mechanical systems, and air brakes Perform periodic scheduled maintenance on trucks, tractors, heavy equipment and trailers Service work on fleet at the jobsite as needed Qualifications 2 years' experience with diesel mechanics Excellent attention to detail and follow through A valid driver's license (CDL preferred, but not required) Ability to follow all OSHA standards and other safety standards Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Must be team oriented Welding basics (preferred, but not required) Equal Opportunity Employer Global Underground Corporation complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
